Wanted to make sure to upload this today since I'll be camping tomorrow.

This is Hitmonlee, the coolest Fighting type ever (in my opinion at least) and a great papercraft. Nice level of difficulty, not too long to make, neat pose.

I have a few tips. There are no numbers on this one, so the order I did it was arms first (start from hands, build up to the shoulders), then just build down from head to toe, closing off at the feet. I built the right leg first, but I'd recommend building the left leg first since the weights go into the right foot, making it far more difficult to build the left. The site recommends to use a base, but I found it stood fine with a couple a nickles in the right foot, so it's up to you really whether you prefer base or no base. The only other tip I have is to fold each piece of the legs up like an acordian, it makes it simpler to glue the tabs together.

Feel free to skip this paragraph, I wish to tell a story. I got Pokemon Blue when I was five, and at the same time my seven year old brother got Pokemon Red. We worked together to collect all 150 Pokemon in each of our games, so at a couple of parts we had to decide who gets what. When we started, my brother traded me a Bulbasaur then started with a Charmander, while I started with a Squirtle. I got the Helix fossil, he got the Dome fossil. My brother got Hitmonchan, I got Hitmonlee. Since then, I have always used Hitmonlee, and my brother Hitmonchan, and we both hate the other. The same goes for Omanyte and Kabuto, Charmander and Squirtle. Anyways, point is is that now I've a model of one of my original favorites, I feel a bit of nostalgia.

Overall, fun model, I recommend anyone to try it, not too tasking, but not so simple you'll be bored with it. Legs were a bit boring, but not too much time taken on them.

Tip for any model; use toothpicks. Dab glue on a tab, then smear it with a toothpick. It leaves the perfect amount of glue so if you misalign a tab, you can slide the paper around, but it still dries fast.

You can have one, Captain! Isn't that exciting!! And not just Hitmonlee, but many other Pokemon as well. Hitmonlee is a good place to start though because it's a fairly easy build.
