Finished two weeks ago but I couldn't find the camera. I perused my camera and found the widescreen setting. I feel so accomplished.
This is the Glaceon papercraft, very pretty. A nice and easy build that will keep your attention. I definitely like the pose, like it's about to attack.
Tips I could offer for this model are limited, it's fairly straight foward. Main thing is to just use good glue and follow the numbers and you'll be all set. The one place I deviated is numbers 16 and 17. These are the loopy 'hair' pieces under the ears. Since they can be put on at any time I waited to attach them once I was finished building the whole kit. If you attach them when you're supposed to, then you can apply pressure from within the head since it's still open, but they attach just fine afterwards and then they won't be in the way for the rest of the build. The other tip I could offer is to watch for the right and left switch. On the build sheets, for the front legs it accurately states the right and left leg pieces. For the hind legs, they are swapped. On the site it says to build from the right back leg then do the left back leg. If you don't read the label on the pages, you might do the wrong leg first.
My opinion: great model. It's fun to build, it's well designed and looks great on a shelf. I'd recommend this kit to those who are most comfortable in the easy to medium difficulty range or those who like pretty Pokemon. Now to build Vulpix or Mawile, or maybe that Mewtwo kit?
Nice job. I was linked here from your comment on the paperpokes site and wanted to see what it would look like. I just finished building the front legs and I am amazed at how clean your model came out!
Nice job. I need to make more eevees. I own 4 eevees and i made a sample papercraft eevee. I need to make my eevees named Shane, Minty, Lil' Vee and Sky Blue
I wish i could take papercrafting lessons, yours are all so clean with no white lines. I cant wait till mine is done. I reinfoced the part that hangs down so now it look like its being held back by the wind
Gah! Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I haven't been here for awhile. Thanks very much for the kind words.
I definitely agree on papercraft lessons. Everything that I know is from trial and error, but I'd love to have someone who's really good at it to work with me. Main thing I do though is pay attention to what the guys from Paperpokes have to say. Brandon in particular is a mastermind when it comes to papercraft.
One tip that I can offer to help make the model cleaner is cutting on an angle. Even though the paper is so thin, I find when I cut with my knife on a 45, once I glue the tab, the edge of the paper can fold over to hide the seams a bit.
You should definitely upload some photos once you've finished. I love seeing others papercraft, as well as to get tips from others on how they made theirs. I should be getting around to uploading photos of Vulpix soon. I finished the build awhile ago, I'm just really slow at uploading things.

Still working on it though.
